Entrance Gallery (937 specimens) : The majority of objects in the entrance gallery are fossils. Aceratherium -rhinoceroses, Listriodon - pigs, Machairodus - sabre toothed tigers, Archaeopteryx - the ancestor of birds,various invertebrates which are indigenous to the Indian and Pacific Oceans and various rock samples are on display. There are also pillars of red travertine, peculiar to the Kütahya region. In addition, the skeleton of Tyrannosaurus rex - a dinasourmade in polyester in original dimensions (12 m in length and 5 m in height) which was supported by the president of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, Ahmet Piriştina is also displayed
